"These all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication..."

After Jesus ascended to Heaven, the disciples went back to Jerusalem. They went, not to the planning room, but to a prayer room. They went, not to a planning meeting, but to a prayer meeting. Their mission was clear; it was to be saturated in prayer. This initial prayer effort lasted for at least a week. They prayed before they preached.

The Point:
When prayer comes first, the effects of our preaching will last.

Probing Questions:

• Are you more likely to plan instead of pray?
• Are you not dependable and cannot be trusted with responsibilities in the Lord's work?
• Does the Lord stir your heart for serving the HIM, but doing nothing about it?
• Do you complain and hinder the work of the church with your complaining?

I am walking by faith and not by sight.
