Day 16

Today's Scripture:
Matthew 20:29-34

Key Verse:
Matthew 20:30

"...two blind men... cried out, saying, Have mercy on us, O Lord..."

The Point:
Even when others do not seem to care, Jesus still does.

Confess and Forsake Any Known Sin:

Probing Questions:

  • Have you, like the bystanders in the story, failed to believe that God can love anyone? Do you believe that he can heal and forgive anyone?

Confess this sin and ask God to forgive you for a lack of faith in God's word.

Commit now to believe that, through faith and prayer, others can be saved regardless of the sin they are involved in.

Praise:
I am more than a conqueror through Christ.

Romans 8:37 "Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us."

Request:

  • Intercede with God on behalf of someone who needs to be saved.
  • Intercede with God on behalf of someone who needs to be delivered from addiction or restored from a personal failure.
  • Ask the Lord to bring a deep unity and love for each other to every person in your church.
  • Ask God to heal any contentions between brethren which are hurting the unity of your Church.
  • Ask God how you can encourage and be a blessing at your church to your brothers and sisters in Christ.

Pray daily and believe God will fulfill his promise to answer.

Meditate on:
