Thank you for your interest in supporting the FBCK 2024 Vacation Bible School Progam WildLIVE!
It takes many hands to conduct a quality Vacation Bible School program, and without the time, energy, and effort of our volunteer teams, we could not undertake this operation. Your contributions to the program will make the difference in the lives of children and families. In addition, we're sure that you will find the experience to be fun and spiritually rewarding!
Please note that you do not have to be a member of FBCK to volunteer. Friends and guests of FBCK are invited to participate as well, and we have found that assisting in VBS is an excellent way to get to know the FBCK family. However, all volunteers must go through our screening process, and some positions are restricted only to qualified church members.
Step 1
Notify the VBS Director, Sara Mix, of your interest. You can click on the button, or contact her directly. If you've signed up elsewhere, such as the sign-up sheets in the foyer, you can skip this step.
Step 2
All VBS workers who have direct contact with children must receive appropriate screening and training through FBCK's Protective Environment for Adults, CHildren, and Youth (PEACHY) program. Workers must be certified annually.
If you were PEACHY certified for the 2023-24 year (that is, certified since August 2023), your certification is still valid, and you can skip this step. If you're not sure, contact the VBS Director or the PEACHY Director.
Workers who will not have direct contact with children (such as decorators and parking lot staff) are exempt from PEACHY requirements.
